 | As a psycho (app user lol), I downloaded it the day it was up on the app store out of sheer desperation for new Animal Crossing content. I played Wild World and New Leaf into the ground and accomplished everything there is to do in those games. With a tease of a New Horizons release originally estimated for 2019, and then because of the delay, I think I can say that all the app users just are desperate for a new actual Animal Crossing game. Also, the app is fine. It hits my AC fix. The worst things about it are: the microtransactions are annoying as hell and the constant events and quests are tedious.  | It most definitely WILL have an “its not great” moment because we have to build up the island over time and newer players might not enjoy that too much. Once we have played the game all throughout we will know it is great. Game will be 10/10. I do wish it allowed cloud saves but its looking like it wont sadly. Oh and on streamers: Dann the mann is gonna fucking BANK! off this game cus he is already pretty popular for making AC videos. His videos are basically what you described, he talks a lot to his chat and is very interactive but still plays the game and it has developed inside jokes about dann and animal crossing. Doing acnh videos long term would be smart for upcoming youtubers because not only is it perfect for a lets play but it is gonna get a lot of attention from people wanting to see what the game is like when it drops. I wanna do videos on it myself! I already have a script planned out for a funny musical video. I don’t even need a capture card so it is great. Overall though I just wanna play so bad. Animal crossing by comparison has the highest levels of care put into it, polished graphics, new mechanics that push the series forward, a fully realized artstyle and limitless amounts of charm.
